A Heavy Heart is a surreal and unsettling first person game that aims to make players who struggle with anxiety and depression feel understood through experience-based gameplay. The player solves a series of puzzles in the confines of an eerie test chamber under the watchful eye of a cyberpunk mega-corporation that simply sees the player as a means to their own end. Pacing back and forth within the claustrophobic test chamber, the device strapped to the player’s chest begins to destabilize both the testing environment and their grasp on reality, eventually pulling the player towards an understanding of what it can feel like to struggle with mental disorders.

Test the gravity manipulation capabilities of the device by solving a series of spatial puzzles. Rotate a grid-like structure in space to guide objects into solve points along the grid.
Manage the quantumn entanglement of the device as it becomes more unstable. Untangle an increaseingly difficult web of nodes on the test chamber terminal.
